Michigan Cyber Academy is an alternative education program, serving grades 9-12. We are a tuition free public school using the latest software technology to allow students to complete courses from the safety and comfort of their home.
With our self paced program students can earn their high school diploma at an accelerated rate. We are an accredited online Michigan public high school. We offer a full catalog of courses to accommodate a diverse group of learners.
As a public online high school, Michigan Cyber Academy offers students a top-notch educational experience that adheres to Michigan's academic standards, all without any financial burden on families.
The virtual classroom remains open, granting 24/7 access to resources, lectures, and assignments. With the freedom to set their pace, students can delve into core subjects, all while balancing other commitments.
This adaptable approach to education fosters independence, cultivates time management skills, and accommodates diverse learning styles, creating an environment where success knows no bounds.
Students must be at least 14 years of age and under 21 years of age. Students must obtain their diploma prior to the age of 22.
To be eligible for enrollment in Michigan Cyber Academy, it is a requirement that you are a resident of the state of Michigan and are able to provide valid documentation as proof of your residency.
Michigan Cyber Academy is an Alternative Education School and can only enroll Alternative Education Students.
Copy of parent/guardian current Driver's License or State ID.
A copy of the official birth certificate for each child must be provided to verify age eligibility.

Students must provide evidence of immunizations.
Students must provide a copy of their most recent transcript.
A current DTE or Consumers Energy Bill is required.
Homeowners: Must provide a copy of property tax statement, mortgage statement/agreement, or deed.
Renters: Must provide a copy of signed lease agreement.
Living with other relatives or friends: The above proof of residency for individual you are residing with AND a notarized Shared Residency Form.

Since our program is self-paced, students can work around their own schedules, whether during the day or night, to complete coursework. We expect that students commit to, at minimum, 20 hours each week towards their studies.
Our Michigan Certified Teachers and support staff are available to help Michigan Cyber Academy students via email, phone and text.
Being that all coursework is completed online, a computer with internet access is necessary. For students that do not have access to a computer or tablet, MCA can assist with providing students a computer or tablet.
Yes! If you have completed coursework at another high school, we will assist in obtaining copies of previous transcripts to determine which credits are eligible to be transferred.
Yes! Michigan Cyber Academy is a Michigan Public High School with Hazel Park Schools. There is no cost to Michigan Residents ages 14-21.

To begin the registration process, first make sure you have met the age and residency requirements. Then complete the online enrollment form to start your registration process.
To ensure that you are eligible for our program, be sure to attach a most recent transcript from your previous school. This is not only required but will help but will also provide us and you with helpful information. We will conduct an initial transcript evaluation to determine if you are eligible, whether classes may be transferred and provide a list of classes that will be required for graduation.
As a school under Hazel Park School District, you must submit ALL required documents prior to enrolling at Michigan Cyber Academy. Please be sure to submit these required documents as soon as possible to not cause any delay in the registration process.
Once you have submitted your online enrollment form, provided us with a recent copy of your transcript and all other required documentation, your application will be reviewed to determine if you meet our enrollment requirements. You will be notified of your application status as soon as our review is completed.
